These photos are from when we bought the house in 2003. The back and both ends had fallen down, following some earthquakes.

We think the house was last occupied in 1978. It took around 5 years to complete the first set of major renovation works.

The roof was completely replaced, the old tiles were removed and re used on the new structure. New windows were manufactured, as not one window was left usable.

All the renovation work was done to sympathetically restore it to the original farmhouse.
